BECCAxSANANAS Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Parisian Lights
The highlighter junkie in me found yet another highlighter on the market that I fell instantly in love with. This one is a collaboration between Becca Cosmetics and Sananas (a beauty influencer). Honestly, I had never heard of her so I had to Google her. She is a popular YouTube guru from France who makes videos in French which is probably why I had not come across her videos on YT. This brings me to the packaging of her highlighter with Becca Cosmetics. It is just delightful. There is a cute impression of the Eiffel Tower along with sparkles embossed in the highlighter. Hence, the name, Parisian Lights. It is so darn pretty! The outer packaging of the pan is similar to other Becca highlighters but it's silver in color. I actually have another highlighter from Becca Cosmetics which also happens to be a collaboration. It was between Jaclyn Hill and Becca. I love this highlighter to the moon and back so I was excited to know if the one by YouTuber Sananas would match up.
The verdict: Yes!
Parisian Lights is a pink highlighter with golden sparkles. It is a beautiful shade that would go well with all skin tones. It has a warm undertone. I was a bit skeptical when I realized it was a pink one. However, the beautiful golden sparkles warm up this highlighter, thus, making it ideal for people with warm undertones. The texture is soft, smooth and creamy like other highlighters from this brand. The highlighter doesn't emphasize pores as it's not chunky or glittery.
It's slightly different from Rose Quartz which is a part of the permanent line. Rose Quartz is a lighter pink shade with gold sparkles.
BeccaxSananas a limited-edition shade. I had to choose between this and the new highlighter by Anastasia Beverly Hills called Amrezy and I chose this one. I will eventually get the Amrezy one too but for now I needed this one in my life! I think it's a unique shade as I do not have a dupe of this one in my highlighter collection. I am very glad I made this purchase. It retails for $38 and I bought mine directly from Becca's website as it wasn't available on Sephora's website. If you are a fan of highlighters and are looking for one pretty pink one with a gold undertone, get this one ASAP. I am giving this one 5 out of 5 stars for wearability and formula.
